Shipping policy

In our research we have found that getting fine toffee and chocolate across the country through the mail... in tact... and in good condition... can be problematic. We know that being a new startup is no excuse for delivering substandard service. Therefore, we are deferring to the experience and wisdom of the fine chocolate and confection industry with regards to our shipping policies.

 

Warm Season

Poppin Toffee is made with hormone free organic butter, real sugar, and fine chocolate. To which, we do not add any preservatives. During the warmer months from April through October, ALL MAILED ORDERS are frozen, packaged in insulated carriers with cold packs, and shipped two day via UPS. This is to ensure that your Poppin Toffee reaches you with the same quality as when it was produced.

The warm season UPS flat rate $22.50 for up to 3 pounds. 

 

Cool Season

During the cooler months from November through February, MAILED ORDERS are frozen, and shipped via UPS ground. Insulated carriers can be provided, upon request for a nominal additional expense .

 

 

Order Processing

 

With Chocolate

Standard shipments (ground) we ONLY ship Monday through Wednesday to minimize the chances of your Poppin Toffee waiting over the weekend in a hot shipping warehouse. Overnight shipments will ONLY ship Monday through Thursday. Orders received Mondays and Tuesdays before noon will usually be processed the same day for shipment the following day. Orders received after noon will be processed the next day. Orders that come in after noon on Wednesdays will processed to ship the following Monday. 

Without Chocolate

We ship Monday through Friday. Orders received Mondays through Thursdays before noon will usually be processed the same day for shipment the following day. Orders received after noon will be processed the next day. Orders that come in after noon on Thursdays will processed to ship on the following Monday. 

 

We will do our best to get your Poppin Toffee orders in the mail as quickly as possible.

P.O. Boxes

Poppin Toffee does not ship to P.O. boxes.

Tracking

Tracking information will be emailed to you after your order once order is picked up.

Address Correction

Incomplete / incorrect addresses will incur a fee for corrections needed after an order has dispatched.
